A satirist uses humor to ridicule the shortcomings of society or persons, of revealing stupidity, together with the purpose. Often, the subject of the satire is actually a modern issue for example unsuccessful political conclusions or politicians, although human vices such as greed may also be a common and widespread matter. Writer Voltaire wrote a satire about anticipation named several well-known lyricists, and Candide, which was therefore became an opera wrote for this. There are components, just as there are in the work of modern satirist Barry Humphries, who writes amusing satire to do on stage.
